Rev. Dr. Benton Thompson, graduated in 1974 from Alcorn State University, with B-S Administration, Graduated 1984 National University with MBA, Graduated 1996 with PHD in Theology. 


Retired Army 0-4 Major, Corp of Engineer, Pastor of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Summit Ms. Executive Director, Founder of Mount Zion Economic Community Center, Inc. dba; Mount Zion Adult Day Care, dba; Mount Zion Community Transportation.

MRS. MICHELLE McCOOL, SECRETARY

 

Michelle is a 1990 graduate of East Mississippi Community with an Associates Degree in Business and a 1994 graduate of Meridian Community College with a Nursing degree.

She is the Administrator and Co-Founder of New Beginnings Adult Day Care Services, LLC, in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Wife to Brandon McCool and mother of 3.

Connie is a graduate of Northeast Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, from University of North Alabama. She is the Administrator and Co-Founder of Caring Heart and Hands, Adult Daycare Center in Tupelo , MS.

MRS. JANICE THOMPSON, BOARD MEMBER

 

Janice Thompson, graduated from Troy State University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Rehabilation Services. She is Program Director for Mount Zion Adult DaySummit, Mississippi. She is the First Lady of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, the wife of Pastor Dr. Benton Thompson. Mother of 3 Childrens and Grandmother of 22.

DR. KENTRELL LIDDELL, BOARD MEMBER

 

Dr. Kentrell Liddell received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Tougaloo College and her medical degree at The University of Iowa College of Medicine (UICOM).  She completed family medicine residency at The University of Mississippi Medical Center.  Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Quality Management at Mid-Delta Health Systems, Inc. and at Total Health Care Services, Inc. Adult Day Care.  She is a member of the National Adult Day Services Association Board of Directors where she serves on the Public Policy and Research Committees.  Having received the Humanism in Medicine Award, given to only one graduating medical student at UICOM, Dr. Liddell remains passionate about advocacy for children, the elderly, and those with physical and mental disabilities.
